We took a trip down to the Carrizo Plain, known to geologists for it's remarkable 'tectonic gemorphology.' The San Andreas fault rips through here making all kinds of features to see. The weather was uncertain and so was our lodgings. There were no developed campgrounds and it's a very remote place.

The wind was great, and I got to try out my kite some more. Lora was into her new camera (a 35mm Canon Rebel) and took all of these great photos. It was miserable that night in the tent as it poured rain.
