There has been considerable erosion and dune loss at Ophir beach. This is a fungus growing on recently exhumed driftwood.

So I went out on the porch to shoot the sun. I put the tele adapter on the old Sony. At power up, saw this:

But in reality...
Earth spins about it's axis once every 24 hours. The moon slowly glides around Earth, taking about 30 days. The Earth and moon's joint trip around the sun takes a year.
