Cypress

If the tree could speak, Andrew D. Barron ©2/3/11
This tree came after the whites to Curry County. It's one of the oldest around. Along came Roosevelt's Rural Electric Administration in 1935. The misfortune of being antecedent to progress; the tree is ritually mutilated by the power company every few years.

The stories it could tell.

I salvaged these limbs last year. If there's time, they will be milled for use as frames in the show.
